The first mascot of a Cricket World Cup was ‘Dazzler’ the zebra who made his appearance in the World Cup in South Africa in 2003.

It stands 60 cms high, and weighs approximately 11 kilos. The names of the trophy, with space for a total of twenty inscriptions. The ICC keeps the original trophy. A replica, which differs only in the inscriptions, is awarded as a permanent memento to the winning team
